Boiler House

Little survives today of the boiler house apart from the outline of bricks in the ground. It would have been coal-fired and provided the steam to run the incorporating mills.

No photos survive to indicate what the boiler house looked like; however, we do know it had a tall chimney. It may have been similar to this picture of a boiler house at the Royal Gunpowder Mills at Waltham Abbey
