Dragon’s Teeth

Conical blocks mark the WWII home defence line protecting London from tank invasion. Known as the ‘GHQ stop lines’, several of these were established around the country in 1940 with the hope of delaying the German advance. They consisted mainly of anti-tank obstacles, such as these, and pillboxes.
